As part of the “EIB Loans for SMEs” programe, targeted trainings and workshops for final beneficiaries are held on an ongoing basis in all regions of Armenia to educate SMEs/mid-caps on improving their business operations. In addition, the programme activities contain events and development policy discussions, such as round table discussions with stakeholders from the government, industry, finance and service sectors, business associations, public research and NGOs.
These workshop and training activities can be summarised as follows:
- Women’s Economic Empowerment Workshops
- Trainings for tourism SMEs/mid-caps
- Trainings for SMEs active in primary agriculture
- Workshops for SMEs in agro-processing
- Workshops for export-oriented production SMEs/mid-caps incl. agro-processing
- Round table forum discussions with relevant stakeholders.
