The support activities for SMEs focus on training, covering important topics such as:
- financial literacy, including effective cooperation with financial institutions
- modern agricultural and tourism technology (for agricultural SMEs)
- client-oriented tourism service and promotion (for tourism SMEs)
- the Comprehensive & Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Armenia (CEPA) – effect and significance
- business planning from the value-added and competitiveness perspectives.
Whenever feasible, at the end of the training activities, there is an opportunity to visit real businesses applying new technologies.
To further disseminate practical experience in the application of modern technologies in the agriculture and tourism sectors, the final beneficiary trainings also include representatives of leading Armenian businesses in these areas.
